Feng Shui. It's something that's worked for centuries.
Sometimes when we're busy or in a transitional period, our home's see the worst of us. It might start to feel more cluttered than usual, there might be more mess and things may feel a little disorganised.
It's totally normal and there's nothing to worry about. A few simple tips and you can re-gain that feeling of "zen" in your life.
1. Your Home Is A Mirror of Your Life.
Hoover, empty the bin, clean out the fridge, place items back in their place, puff up your sofa cushions, re-align the rug .... A little clean up can help your home feel fresh and rejuvenated. There are powerful and positive shifts in energy when you bring your life back into alignment.
2. Sit & Look Around.
When you look around your home, how do you feel? Do you still like the art on your walls? Does your interior style reflect your style now? What feels right and what feels wrong?
When you make positive changes in your home, this is often the starting point to making positive changes in your life. It's what gets us motivated.
3. Brighten Up Dark Spaces.
Brighten dark spaces in your home using colour and light. Pull the curtains wider to let in more light. Place a piece of art or vase of flowers in a dull corner. Add an extra lamp or even paint that space a lighter, brighter colour. When things are brighter, it's easier to find peace of mind.
