This week, I can't stop blending up this smoothie! It's sweet, nutritious and is full of green & red veggies! Beetroot is very well known for it's "happy tummy" properties. People who suffer with IBS, troublesome tummies & discomfort, beetroot will be your new best friend.
Beetroots are rich in betaine, which is wonderful for digestive health. Betaine improves digestion by increasing stomach acid levels, which reduces bloating, prevents food intolerances, and controls yeast and bacterial growth. It also helps us absorb more nutrients from our food.
Beetroot is also high in vitamin C and iron, which is great news for your immune system.

1 Big Handful of Spinach
1 Small Carrot
1/2 an Avocado
1/2 a Beetroot (Raw)
250ml of Coconut Milk ( I use Rude Health Coconut Milk as it's sweet).
Blend all the ingredients together (I use my NutriBullet) and pour into your favourite glass!
